Andrea Johnson of Elkay Halsey Taylor Water Coolers has issued an advice warning to UK end user customers, including architects and councils, stating that if they buy Halsey Taylor water coolers or drinking fountains from anyone other than their official dealer MIW Office Solutions Ltd “product warranty is immediately void”

Elkay Halsey Taylor invests huge amounts of money to ensure their dealers are trained to the highest standard, ensuring customers receive a first class sales and after sales experience.

“Some customers are being lured into buying Halsey Taylor water coolers from unscrupulous web traders in the UK. These traders often have websites which give the impression that they are a much bigger company than what they really are, selling thousands of products from lawn mowers to drinking fountains. They trade from a small office or even from their home and simply source goods from dealers in the US or other parts of the world. Often these goods sold, are old stock and out of date models, more worryingly these machines sold are 110v (which is hidden away in the small print,) and also with different sized water connection threads which can’t be fixed to a UK water supply. Only when the goods arrive with the customer in the UK they realise they have wasted their money.”
