MIW Office Solutions recently supplied Danegrove Primary School with a pair of outdoor drinking fountains for installation within the school grounds. We worked with staff from the school to provide two Halsey Taylor 2501A units, which will keep students refreshed and hydrated throughout the summer months.
Danegrove Primary School is situated in the town of East Barnet within the London Borough of Barnet, with over 650 pupils on the roll as of last year. Pupils vary between the ages of 3 and 11 as they begin in Foundation stage and leave at the end of Year 6.
As regular hydration is known to be essential to proper concentration and development, staff wanted a product that would fulfil the tough requirement of keeping over 600 students hydrated on a daily basis.
The Halsey Taylor 2501A outdoor drinking fountain isn’t known as the “playground water cooler” for no reason, and staff chose the unit for its combination of high performance and durability in an outdoor setting. With a corrosion-resistant stainless steel basin and a chrome-plated internal strainer, the children will be able to enjoy clean and fresh water even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. And because the 2501A is an outdoor drinking fountain, Danegrove’s students can also stay hydrated when playing games on the playground or school field.
