The Elkay / Halsey Taylor 55996C - WRAS Approved Strainer is located at the water inlet of the drinking fountain. Strainers are designed to collect and trap any sediment that may damage the valve or other components of the drinking fountain. It fits Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains but can be universally fitted to any water fountain or cooler. It comes with a 3/8 inch inlet and a 1/4 inch outlet which allows you to use it to step down from larger pipe sizes to the standard 1/4 inch pipe used on the majority of units in the UK.

This Elkay / Halsey Taylor 55996C Wras Approver water strainer is located at the water inlet within the drinking fountain. The strainer collects and traps sediment preventing damage to vital components including the solenoid valve. The strainer should be replaced when routine service occurs. (Fits various Elkay and Halsey Taylor drinking fountains.)
